Actress - Dia Mirza celebrated International Womens' Day with our women
cancer patients at Cinemax Theatre, Sion. The celebration was preceded by a
special showing of the movie
"Chingaari"
for them.
Also present at the function were the director of the film Kalpana
Lajmi, Music composer Shri. Bhupen Hazarika & singer Ila Arun. They
interacted with the cancer patients and spoke about the important role they
play in
the family. Wishing them the very best they also encouraged them to keep a positive attitude in life.

Play - Sammy - A word that broke an empire ! |
2nd April 2006- Lillette Dubey kindly offered to do a show of
Sammy for CPAA on April 2nd at St. Andrew's Hall. The play produced by The
Primetime Theatre Company and supported
by Phillips, depicts the gradual evolution of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi from his
days as a lawyer in South Africa to the Mahatma, ending at his assassination and
stars well known actors in the stellar roles. Of special mention for CPAA is
Neha Dubey as Kasturba Gandhi who has been a volunteer with our organisation.
